Fans who’ve been keeping an eye on Game Pop’s upcoming stealth action-adventure game They Will Come will be pleased to know that the Steampunk horror title will have a demo releasing February 19 on Steam.
A mix of action, exploration, puzzle, and stealth mechanics, They Will Come places players into the small shoes of young Benjamin, a young boy who lives with his family of inventors aboard the enormous steampunk airship ‘Endeavor’. You’ll explore the dark hallways and cavernous hangers and factories of the massive airship, trying to save yourself and your family, as well as the world below, from mysterious cultists that have invaded the ship. Along with hiding from the reprogrammed automatons aboard the ship, you’ll also need to avoid the strange monsters that roam the air vents of the ship.
While you may be separated from your family, you’re not alone in your journey. Your only companion is the giant robot Talus, who, despite his size and strength, needs you as much as you need him. Talus relies on you to recharge his power-cells and find replacement pieces for him when he is damaged. In return, you can take refuge in his hollow chest to hide, or have him smash through your enemies in a pinch.
