Casting Details Purportedly Leaked for Third ‘Wolfenstein’ Entry
After reports surfaced last month that MachineGames was in the process of gearing up for a third entry in the rebooted Wolfenstein franchise, it now appears that those reports were the real deal. Casting details on the third entry have purportedly been leaked, giving potential details on the game’s story.
According to a report by MP1ST, the sequel is currently going under the codename of ‘Valkyrie,’ with Performance Director Tom Keegan and Casting Director Emily Schweber being attached to the project. The duo have worked on previous MachineGames projects, with Keegan coming off directing the performances in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, and Schweber having a hand in the casting for the previous Wolfenstein entries.
The report mentions that performance capture is scheduled to kick off in April, with additional shooting dates planned for later in 2026 and extending into 2027.
As for story details, the casting call includes a role for a character named Sofiya. Described as a Ukrainian orphan between the ages of 8 and 11, she and her adopted dog Ralph are said to form a bond with series protagonist William “B.J.” Blazkowicz, accompanying him on his travels.
The character’s description also details Sofiya’s background, stating that, ‘While initially suspicious and traumatized by war, she blooms under the care of the resistance (possibly referring to the Kreisau Circle) as a strong-willed survivor.’
Neither MachineGames or Bethesda have responded to this leak, so as always, it’s best to keep that salt handy.

Get a Taste of the Action-Packed Terror in the Demo for FPS Shooter ‘BLIGHTEN’ [Trailer]
For those itching for some throwback first-person shooter action, Blight Software has just had a demo released for their upcoming FPS BLIGHTEN. The demo sees you and your squad selected to eliminate the last rebels in the eastern wastes, only to have your slaughtered, and you trapped in a decaying research facility. And you’re not alone.
You’ll explore every room of the facility for resources and weapons in an effort to stay alive. Luckily, you’ll have an extensive arsenal of various firearms at your disposal, from shotguns to assault rifles.
You’ll need them in order to take down the various blight-ridden mutated horrors throughout the mega structure. As one would expect, you’ll need to scrounge for parts and ammo, so make every shot count.
Similar to what players experienced in the early PlayStation classic Alien Trilogy, BLIGHTEN sports hand-drawn enemy sprites and animation in a 3D retro world, creating a unique and dynamic atmosphere while still scratching that throwback itch.
It’s all wrapped up in a dark narrative, where an unseen evil lurks in the shadows of the facility, shaping the horrors around you as you descend deeper into the facility. As you navigate this industrial nightmare, every Blightened creature slain is a grim reminder to what you’ve lost — and the things you’re fighting for.
Look for BLIGHTEN later this year on Steam.
