After announcing the physical PlayStation 5 edition of Cozy Game Pals’ Fear The Spotlight last October, Blumhouse Games and iam8bit have made good on the announcement today.
Available in both a retail version and iam8bit Exclusive Edition, each copy includes a collectible 12” x 18” poster, while the iam8bit Exclusive Edition also features a special O-Sleeve that is described as a “must-have” for physical media fans and horror fanatics.
Also available for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch, Fear The Spotlight is an atmospheric third-person horror adventure described as “a creepy love letter to classic 90s teen horror stories.” When Vivian enters the deserted corridors for a seance with the rebellious Amy, she suddenly ends up alone, and at the mercy of the monster who wanders the halls. Vivian must avoid its gaze, find her friend, and uncover the disturbing, murderous truth of a decades old tragedy.
Players must sneak to avoid detection from this monstrous entity as Vivian explores the ominous darkness of the school corridors. You must solve highly tactile puzzles that pay homage to classic genre favorites as you explore the derelict Sunnyside High with a flashlight, screwdriver, wrench, and more to uncover a web of mysteries.
