Digital Sun is going the way of V Rising by casting players as Dracula in their newly-announced castle-defense roguelite, ReVamp. Coming to PC via Steam, Digital Sun will host multiple playtests in the coming months via Discord to gather community feedback and shape the experience alongside players.
As mentioned, the story casts you as Dracula. Cursed by Achlys, goddess of the night, you are condemned to defend your throne without end. As a result, you must build and rebuild castles room by room, command an army of monsters, and repel relentless waves of mortal invaders determined to storm the throne.
In this “Tower-Defensevania”, players architect an ever-shifting castle, transforming open halls into calculated gauntlets designed to annihilate invading barbarians, armored knights, and zealous priests. You command and deploy various minions including werewolves, chimeras, harpies, skeletons, wyverns, wendigos, and more to stalk the halls of your manor. Between waves, the castle can be reshaped and reinforced, allowing players to adapt their layout to increasingly dangerous assaults.
When defenses begin to falter, Dracula steps into the fray directly — dashing through corridors and unleashing devastating blood-fueled abilities to reclaim control of the battlefield. Each moonrise resets the siege, but spilled blood fuels permanent progression, unlocking new chambers, stronger minions, and deeper strategic possibilities in an eternal cycle of destruction and refinement.
