‘Hello Neighbor 3’ Pre-Alpha Version Now Available [Video]

Published

tinyBuild once again has updated fans on the progress of Hello Neighbor 3, this time with the Pre-Alpha version, which is available now on Steam. This Pre-Alpha introduces a new objective system, providing guidance through the narrative while preserving the Hello Neighbor series’ free-roam spirit. Accompanying the release of the Pre-Alpha version is the fourth developer diary, which takes a look at the key improvements in the Pre-Alpha since the previous prototypes.

Changes with this version of the game includes the loop-based progression eliminating the pressure of speedrunning. Instead, when a loop ends, it restarts seamlessly with objectives and collected knowledge carrying over.

Character behavior has been overhauled to feel more deliberate and predictable, with sneaking working better than ever. The Raven Brooks map has also been expanded with new locations, items, and visual upgrades. And yes, you’ll finally get to meet the Neighbor for the first time.

“We’re building Hello Neighbor 3 around the idea that there is no wrong way to play,” says franchise creator Nikita Kolesnikov. “With the Pre-Alpha, we’re going to see how players actually use that freedom.”

Hello Neighbor 3 is designed to serve as the best entry point in the beloved horror franchise, requiring no prior knowledge of the series to enjoy the neighborhood. Players will arrive in Raven Brooks on a corporate mission: find the missing employee who is the only person who knows the whereabouts of a very important report. However, what begins as a routine search quickly unravels into something far more unsettling. Locals make no secret of their distrust of the corporation, and you will soon learn that in Ravens Brook, disappearances are anything but rare.

Halloween Horror Nights 2026 Brings ‘Fortnite’ to Life with New ‘Fortnitemares’ Scare Zone

Published

Epic’s Fortnite is heading for another crossover, this time with Universal Orlando and Halloween Horror Nights. The title’s annual Fortnitemares Halloween event will be coming to Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort in a new scare zone, kicking off on August 28.

For those not in the know, Scare zones are themed, open-air areas where guests and actors roam around freely.

This is the first time Fortnite will be featured during the after-hours event, which will run from August 28 until November 1. Tickets and packages are on sale now at the official site.

Per the press release, guests will enter Freaky Fields, a Halloween-inspired living battleground that’s been “overcome with a threatening force.” From there, fans will meet up with the Battle Bus, featuring familiar Fortnitemares characters, including “a few new additions exclusive to Halloween Horror Nights.”

And of course, there will be Fortnitemares merchandise available for fans, including a graphic t-shirt, decal set, and an acrylic collectible piece.

Fortnitemares won’t be the only featured property at this year’s Halloween Horror Nights. Killer Klowns from Outer Space will also be getting its own scare zone. Sinners, Stranger Things, Hellraiser, and Evil Dead Burn will also be part of the event, though they will be relegated to their own specific houses.

And while it’s early yet, gamers can probably expect Fortnitemares to return to Fortnite this October.
