Stream Paranormal Occurrences for Your Audience in ‘Don’t Go Live’; Demo Out April 29 [Trailer]

Indie studio Lake On Fire is tapping into the supernatural and livestreaming culture with their newly-announced title, the first-person paranormal horror game Don’t Go Live. You won’t have to wait long to get a taste of what’s to come, as the developer has announce that the game’s demo will be available for free on Steam starting April 29.

In Don’t Go Live, you take on the role of a livestreamer, exploring abandoned locations to feed their audience’s obsession with disturbing content. Film strange and terrifying events to keep your viewers hooked. The crazier the footage, the more your chat reacts. The deeper you venture, however, the more the entity lurking in the shadows takes notice.

As you film, the image glitches and distorts in the presence of paranormal anomalies. You also have a paranormal scanner, which reveals traces of activity in the environment as you film. Meanwhile, the entity reacts to sound, light, and stream activity.

Yes, Don’t Go Live employs a unique mechanic where the player’s real Twitch chat is fully integrated into the experience. Viewer messages, emotes and spam trigger real-time in-game events. The more the audience reacts, the more dangerous the situation becomes. Your chat may warn you about your situation, or egg you on and potentially seal your fate. Don’t worry, you don’t need to have a Twitch account in order to play the game.

Meanwhile, the demo releasing next week will feature one location, one entity, and one complete gameplay loop.
