“The Eradicators” DLC Out Now for ‘Starship Troopers: Terran Command’ [Trailer]

Fans of The Aristocrats’ Starship Troopers: Terran Command have some new content to dig into with The Eradicators expansion, which is available now on Steam. Best of all, if you haven’t taken the plunge and picked up Terran Command, you can do so now with a 40% discount, and with the previously-released DLCs for 15%, until June 2.

The first story campaign built around Terran Command‘s Territory Mode mechanics, The Eradicators expansion is set on the desolate planet of Ghutana – the testing ground for the Federation’s latest chemical, radiation and biological weapons. You’ll deploy this new technology to support lead scientist Doctor Kraus with his “Hercules Program” – an ambitious project that ultimately aims to capture the monstrous Hydra Bug.

The Eradicators DLC comes with new player units derived from pheromonal and mind-control research, allowing you to deploy and control your own Arachnid hordes on the battlefield through new units and abilities. Adding to that are a range of other new unit types equipped with experimental chemical and radiation weapons technology, representing the cutting edge of Federation technology.

Of course, there are also new bugs for you to stomp, as the harsh, polluted environment of planet Ghutana has led to new Arachnid variants. This includes the Buzzer Drone, the explosive Geiger Bug, and the corrosive Acid Grenadier.

As mentioned, The Eradicators DLC makes use of the game’s Territory Mode, which was released as a massive free update at the end of 2025. The mode focuses on freedom of choice and tactics, and allows players to mix and match content from the base game and all of its DLCs. You start by choosing a Battle Group – each built around unique units, technologies, and combat doctrines – and then select your next mission. These can take you to the base game’s desert world, Kwalasha; the volcanic planet of Gehenna (Raising Hell DLC); or the cityscape of Managar on planet Varuna (Urban Onslaught DLC).

The Eradicators Battle Group adds the new planet, new unlockable cosmetics, every new unit, technology and ability as well as the new Arachnid variants to the Territory Game mode.
