‘Alien: Isolation 2’ (and Demo) to Appear at London’s FrightFest on August 30

Building on June’s reveal, Creative Assembly is taking Alien: Isolation 2 on the road to Frightfest in London, UK later this month. Not only that, but those hungry for a demo have some good news on that front.

Creative Assembly made the announcement of the game’s appearance at FrightFest last week, stating that the team would be there on August 30 for an exclusive panel session. “We will deep dive into the creation of Alien: Isolation, and the pivotal role that the 1979 sci-fi horror classic Alien played in inspiring its creation.”

Predictably, fans began the usual bombardment of questions. One fan asked the obvious questions of if the game had a release date, and would there be a demo. The devteam responded by stating that no release date would be revealed, but that a demo of the game’s prologue will be available at the event.

Tickets for the panel event can be ordered here. FrightFest is on from August 27 to August 31.

And for those who can’t make it to FrightFest to check out the game, you can instead head to Gamescom this year (at the same time, actually), where the team will also be showcasing the demo.

Alien: Isolation 2 is now available to wishlist on Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox, with the Nintendo Switch 2 to follow soon.
