After teasing last week what’s in store for celebrating Castlevania‘s 40th anniversary, Konami has revealed the details about Castlevania 40th Anniversary An Orchestral Concert, an official concert event licensed by Konami, which will bring one of the most celebrated soundtracks in video game history to the stage. Kicking off next March in Tokyo, the 25-piece power rock orchestra will perform four decades of legendary music, synchronised with gameplay on the big screen. As well, the concert will feature a world-exclusive first performance of music from the upcoming Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse.
Created by Lambert Jackson Productions, with creative direction by Thomas Redgrave, video design by Symfoni Digital, the series will feature all-new arrangements and orchestrations by Adam Hoskins.
Here are the dates for the series:
- 13 March: Tokyo Opera City Concert Hall, Tokyo
- 14 March: Eventim Apollo, London
- 26 March: Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles
Tickets for LA go on sale October 1st at 10am PT, while tickets for London go on sale October 1st at 12pm BST. Lottery-based pre-sale for tickets for Tokyo starts on October 1st at 12pm JST, with general sales planned for a later date.
