By this point, if you haven’t been paying attention, the Springwood Slasher himself Freddy Krueger is part of this year’s Fortnitemares. And Fornite knows it, as they’ve dropped a new trailer featuring Freddy in action, complete with a boiler backpack.
Freddy’s skin (no pun intended) is available now in Fortnite, with more crossover collaborations to arrive as the month-long event goes on. He joins Five Nights at Freddy’s, Slender Man, Obsession, Predator: Badlands, Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights, Beetlejuice, The Purge and more.
Drop into Freaky Fields or the new Nightmare Neighborhood POI, where Freddy is waiting. Defeat him to claim Freddy’s Nightmare, which let you teleport into range and slash opponents. Reveal enemies with the new Bonerattler SMG, and take aim with returning weapons like the Wood Stake Shotgun and Pumpkin Launcher.
Activate cursed cartridge Overrides that grant invisibility while sprinting, boost damage at low health, or conceal your squad as Halloween props. Take on Five Nights at Freddy’s animatronic bosses to possess one and terrorize the map.
