‘Cronos: The New Dawn’ Receives Free Photo Mode in New Update [Trailer]

After gifting fans a seasonal-appropriate skin last year, Bloober Team are giving Cronos: The New Dawn players a chance to put that skin to good use. The devteam has added a new photo mode, along with a set of improvements to the game itself.

As you’d expect, Photo mode will enable players to take shots of the character and game environment while adjusting many different settings. The photo mode allows creativeness to roam within the New Dawn, with the available settings designed to allow each player to adjust them to their personal preferences.

Along with the introduction of photo mode, the new update introduces various fixes, and tweaks, including options to skip cutscenes and HDR balancing. These were introduced to improve player experience and allow players to make full use of the new photo mode.

Freeze any moment in Cronos: The New Dawn and make it yours. Shape the shot with exposure, contrast, and bloom. Go further with advanced options like film grain and color fringing. Finish it with effects and stickers. Every setting is built to bend to your vision. Do it this Halloween, as Pumpkin Head, remember to activate the skin in the game menu in the ‘Extras’ section.

Owners of Cronos: The New Dawn will receive the photo mode on PC and consoles, with a free update.

Cronos: The New Dawn will be on a 50% discount throughout the Halloween season on Steam, PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Nintendo e-shop. And to celebrate Halloween this year even more, Bloober Team is hosting Halloweek. A week filled with streams, surprises and giveaways hosted by Bloober Team. This will run from now until October 30 to celebrate the spooky season. Simply follow Bloober Team’s socials, as well as YouTube and Twitch for the planned surprises.

Meanwhile, the elusive Cronos: Lazarus expansion for The New Dawn is still in development, scheduled for release later this fall for PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, the PlayStation 5, the Xbox Series,  and the Nintendo Switch 2.
