The recent edition of Steam Next Fest is over, but that’s not stopping F16 Gamez and their horror roguelite fishing game SNAP JAW, which still has its demo available for players. The demo features the first three days of the 9-day journey players will undertake as they navigate through a sunken post-apocalyptic world filled with starving mechanical beasts.

Set in a sunken post-apocalyptic world teeming with starving beasts that must be fed, you must fulfil your duty, or suffer the consequences.

The story sees humanity having turned its back on God, creating artificial life in defiance of the Eleven Commandments. This artificial life has led to the creation of giant mechanical horrors that roam the earth. In response, God wept, and his tears unleashed a second great flood that drowned the earth and raptured every animal. You play as one of the few survivors, driving toward heaven to reunite with your dog and plead for forgiveness.

As you navigate the tides, you’ll have to strategically upgrade your boat, rods, and other fishing equipment to meet the ever-increasing demands of the mechatronic horrors that reside below.
