‘The Green Inferno’ Teaser Trailer Prepares for Sacrifice!

Open Road is preparing quite the ritual.

Say a few prayers and then read on to watch the first teaser trailer for Cabin Fever and Hostel director Eli Roth’s The Green Inferno.

Heading deep into the Amazon are Lorenza Izzo, Ariel Levy, Daryl Sabara and Kirby Bliss Blanton, who star in the pic sacrificing audiences September 5.

“The Green Inferno follows a group of student activists who from New York City travel to the Amazon to protect a dying tribe, but crash in the jungle and are taken hostage by the very natives they saved.

‘Onslaught’ – ‘The Guest’ & ‘You’re Next’ Duo Reteaming for A24 Action-Thriller

Fresh off directing both Godzilla vs. Kong and this year’s Godzilla x Kong, director Adam Wingard is said to be getting back to his roots with the upcoming action-thriller Onslaught.

A24 has picked up the package, with Wingard directing and frequent creative partner Simon Barrett writing. The duo made a name for themselves with The Guest and You’re Next.

The news was first reported by Deadline this afternoon.

The site notes in their exclusive report, “Plot details are being kept under wraps but the film is in the vein of Wingard and Barrett’s cult classics like The Guest and You’re Next.”

Producers include Aaron Ryder and Andrew Swett for Ryder Picture Company (RPC) banner alongside A24, Alexander Black for Lyrical Media, Wingard and Jeremy Platt for Breakaway Civilization, and Simon Barrett. Deadline’s report also notes this afternoon, “Lyrical’s Jon Rosenberg and Natalie Sellers will serve as executive producers with A24.”

Adam Wingard’s directorial credits also include A Horrible Way to Die, V/H/S, V/H/S/2, and Blair Witch, while Simon Barrett scripted all of the above. Barrett recently made his feature directing debut with Séance, and he wrote the upcoming Azrael starring Samara Weaving.
