‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ Teaser Rides In!
Another teaser for a trailer as 20th Century Fox shared this awesome little teaser video for the full Dawn of the Planet of the Apes trailer, arriving next week.
“A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.”
In theaters July 11 from Matt Reeves, the pic stars Andy Serkis, Toby Kebbell, Keri Russell, Gary Oldman, Jason Clarke, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Kirk Acevedo, and Enrique Murciano.
The feature directorial debut of Emily Robinson (Eighth Grade) is titled Ugly Cry, and Deadline reports that Obscured Releasing has picked up the movie for U.S. distribution.
Ugly Cry is expected to be released in theaters this Fall and later on Digital.
Also starring Emily Robinson, the horror-comedy follows a young Hollywood actress’ dark descent into body dysmorphia as she struggles to fulfill impossible beauty standards.
Ryan Simpkins, Aaron Dominguez and Robin Tunney also star.
Emily Robinson wrote the film in addition to directing and starring.
“Ugly Cry contemplates the horror of having a body in the age of the internet. What’s scarier, cringier, and funnier than modern society?” said Robinson. “Our collaboration with Obscured began at SXSW, which made it clear no one understands our genre-bendy feature better than they do. We’re thrilled to be partnering with them for our North American release.”
