Asylum has been a company we refuse to waste energy on, mostly because they are always creating faux sequels to franchises, and purposely making bad movies like Sharknado.

But, today things begin anew. They finally have something I’m excited to share with you dear readers, something that’s actually worth your time.

Here’s the trailer for their new series, “Z Nation,” premiering this September on Syfy. The premise is cool, the cast is badass, and most importantly…the show takes itself very seriously. You’ll see in this promo just how cool the zombies are, and also enjoy a few smart gimmicks such as an undead child.
