First ‘See No Evil 2’ Clip Wakes Sleeping Beauty
Pay for your sins. Especially if that sin is kissing a dead slasher on his lips…
See No Evil 2, which features star wrestler Kane as “Jacob Goodnight” (I laugh every time they use him name in the trailer), a psychopath that goes on a killing spree, will be available on Digital HD and Video On Demand Friday, October 17th, and on Blu-ray (plus Digital HD) and DVD (plus Digital) on Tuesday, October 21st.
Starring Danielle Harris (Halloween, Hatchet II), Katharine Isabelle (Ginger Snaps, Freddy vs Jason), Greyston Holt (Lost Boys: The Tribe), Chelan Simmons (Tucker and Dale vs Evil), Kaj Eriksen and Lee Majdoub, from the pic directed by Jen and Sylvia Soska (American Mary), the first clip show Isabelle unbuttoning her shirt a bit and then seducing a dead Jacob Goodnight. Will her kiss wake Sleeping Beauty?
“A group of friends pays a late-night visit to the city morgue to surprise Amy (Harris) on her birthday. But the surprise is on them when the one-eyed corpse of brutal psychopath Jacob Goodnight (Jacobs) unexpectedly rises from a cold sub-basement slab. Their wild party quickly turns into a terrifying slay-fest as the sadistic mass-murderer resumes his savage rampage complete with hooks, surgical knives and power saws.“

Every film in the Insidious franchise has received a PG-13 rating to date from the Motion Picture Association (MPA). That streak holds strong with Insidious: Out of the Further.
The sixth and newest installment has been rated PG-13 for “strong violent content, bloody images, terror and some strong language.”
Insidious: Out of the Further opens in theaters August 21 via Sony and Blumhouse-Atomic Monster.
As its title implies, the denizens of the Further are spilling out into our world in the new film, and its new MPA rating brings a fresh batch of images.
The film follows Gemma, a young mother raising her daughter in the house she grew up in, who discovers she can travel into The Further, the purgatorial realm of lost souls at the heart of the Insidious universe.
When something evil comes after her, Gemma discovers an ability that changes everything: she doesn’t just enter The Further, she can bring what lives there back to the real world. Once the demons realize her power, our world becomes their playground.
Franchise star Lin Shaye reprises her role as Elise Rainier alongside Amelia Eve (“The Haunting of Bly Manor”) and Brandon Perea (Nope). Island Austin, and Maisie Richardson-Sellers (“Legends of Tomorrow”) star.
Sam Spruell (“A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms”) plays the malevolent entity known as Cyrus.
“[He] was truly scary,” Shaye previously teased. “When I met him on the street, I had a visceral response, which was crazy. So it’s a whole new catalog of people and even of ideas.” Get a peek at Cyrus below.
Jacob Chase (Come Play) writes and directs, sharing story credit with David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick (The Conjuring: Last Rites, Orphan). David Garbett (Evil Dead Rise) serves as director of photography.
