Instead of celebrating the film’s 10th anniversary, Screen Junkies decided to shit all over Lionsgate’s SAW with their latest Honest Trailer entry.
And even though it’s in good fun, a lot of the stuff they point are reasons I like the 2004 indie. From the frantic editing to the unknown actors (like Leigh Whannell), SAW has always been the staple indie horror that we all strive to make. James Wan and Leigh Whannell achieved the dream by seeing their film open wide and churn out several sequels.
Long live Jigsaw. Still, this is pretty great, especially the bit about opening in a typical Taco Bell bathroom…
