There’s no denying that Dave Mustaine and the vast amount of musicians that have at some point or another comprised thrash metal icons Megadeth have written some tasty licks. In fact, some riffs have become staples in the training of burgeoning metal guitarists, almost like a rite of passage before you can ascend to the next level of guitar knowledge.
But you’re only a true fan if you can riff and shred your way through 160 Megadeth guitar licks, playing a few seconds of every song the band has released AND in chronological order! Sound insane? Well, it kinda is, but that didn’t stop Travis Simpson from doing just that!
Below you can watch Simpson as he plays a sample from every track from every album and all in the order in which they were released. Note, he does state in the video description that the guitar tracks, “…were muted during the guitar tuning swaps so you don’t have to hear the sound of a disconnected guitar.”
