Bring Some Metal Into The Holiday Spirit With The ‘Gremlins’ Theme Gone Heavy

One of my favorite holiday movies is 1984’s phenomenal horror/comedy/fantasy Gremlins, which introduced the world to absolutely adorable – and don’t you dare lie to me and tell me you don’t agree – Gizmo the Mogwai as well as his vicious siblings, the scaly Gremlins. Full of laughs, scares, and some damn fine practical FX, Joe Dante’s film tricked a whole bunch of parents into thinking that this movie would be safe for their kids to watch. Little did they know, right?

Since we’re in the Holiday season, why not take a look back at the theme song, which was originally composed by Jerry Goldsmith (The Omen, Poltergeist, Warlock), and give it a bit of a metal twist!

Check it out below and then let me know in the comments if you like the first film or the second more!
