Focus World is planning an August 7th limited theatrical and VOD release for Cop Car, a thriller that had its World Premiere at this past January’s Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.
Today, we have the trailer from the movie that stars Kevin Bacon, as well as James Freedson-Jackson, Hays Wellford, Shea Whigham, and Camryn Manheim.
Jon Watts directed from a screenplay he co-wrote with Christopher D. Ford. It follows two 10-year-old boys who steal an abandoned cop car and take it for a joy ride. They find themselves on a wild ride when the owner, a corrupt cop (Bacon), begins to hunt them down.
