On this day, 125 years ago, Howard Phillip Lovecraft was born. He would grow to become one of horror’s most influential authors, writing such stories as The Call Of Cthulhu and At The Mountains Of Madness. His works could be the inspiration for people such as John Carpenter, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, and Joss Whedon, amongst a great many others. His works have also been the foundation of countless video and board games.
