If “Ash vs Evil Dead” were a feature film instead of a series, last night’s episode would have been the time to take a pee break.
An insanely boring episode, there were still some fun moments, such as the big reveal in which Pablo (Ray Santiago) finally gifts Ash (Bruce Campbell) with a brand new mechanical hand (pictured above). I’m dying to know what makes this new metal hand special, and am holding onto hope that we’ll also see a new chainsaw in the future. Speaking of, is it me or does it feel like there’s a lack of chainsaw action in this show?
Now that we’re halfway through the 10-episode season, I’m expecting things to ramp up in Ep 106, ‘The Killer of Killers,’ which airs next Saturday on Starz.
In the episode, thanks to his drug-induced vision, Ash knows what to do with the Necronomicon. Pablo and Kelly (Dana DeLorenzo) notice something ominous. Ash promises to visit Lem, but Fisher (Jill Marie Jones) shows up for an almighty showdown with her former boss.
