‘Anguish’ Clips Get Possessed: Hot New Release!
Pat was a really big fan of Gravitas Ventures’ Anguish, stating that it “delightfully creeps and compels.”
We now have two new clips from new thriller written and directed by Sonny Mallhi, which premiered in July at the Fantasia International Film Festival.
Gravitas will release the film in select theaters and on demand on tomorrow, December 18th. This is a must-see before the year ends!
“Inspired by true events, Tess (Ryan Simpkins, “A Single Man”) is a teenage girl finally old enough to understand that the cause of her psychological problems is a supernatural “gift” that allows spirits to take over her body. Now that she understands what is happening to her, she must decide whether she wants to keep fighting or succumb to the soul of a recently deceased girl who refuses to leave.”
Karina Logue (“Ray Donovan”) and Annika Marks (“The Fosters”) also star.
The first clip “Dangerous Road” shows the moment Tess comes across the site of the deadly hit and run that killed a girl, but apparently not her soul…
The second clip “Go Away!” shows Tess trying to deal with the spirit that possessed her that just won’t leave her alone.
In the wake of last year’s Vice Press Home Video release of Evil Dead II on fully functional VHS, Vice Press is back with a new release – Dario Argento’s 1977 classic, Suspiria!
Released under licence and in collaboration with Dario Argento and Atom Age Industries, Suspiria will come in two editions, both featuring art by Eisner Award winning illustrator John J Pearson, Bloody Disgusting has exclusively learned this afternoon.
The slipcase edition includes cover art by John J Pearson, with screen printed design on the tape taken from the design on the floor from the Volk dance scene, and is limited to 500 copies.
The Collector’s Edition comes in a plastic clamshell with reversible cover, featuring John’s art on one side and the original theatrical art on the other. This will come in an edition of 500.
Both versions will be available on PAL for UK and EU customers, and NTSC for North American customers, so they can be played anywhere.
To accompany the release, Vice Press are also re-releasing John J Pearson’s artwork as a limited edition, 24×36 inch variant poster, which will be limited to an edition of 160.
And that isn’t all! Vice Press will also be releasing a limited edition SCREEN PRINTED edition of the original Suspiria film poster. Limited to an edition of 200 and sized 24×36 inches.
