When “The Walking Dead” returns to AMC in October, it’s going to be a pretty special episode. Not only is the Greg Nicotero-directed episode the Season 8 premiere, but it’s also the show’s landmark 100th episode.
It’s been a long, brutal and harrowing trip, to say the very least.
We’ve met, and lost, so many great characters over the course of the show’s seven seasons. We’ve laughed. We’ve been terrified. And we’ve damn sure cried. The show has run the full gamut of emotions since it premiered back in 2010, and the still surviving characters have done so much growing that they’re hardly even recognizable from when we first met them.
In celebration of the 100th episode of “The Walking Dead,” AMC just put together a nice little tribute video that highlights their favorite memories from the first 99 episodes. The clip compilation really reminds how far we’ve come and what we’ve been through over the years. There’s truly no other show on TV like it.
Season 8 premieres October 22.
