Long before Joel and Ethan Coen made films like Fargo and No Country for Old Men, as well as scooped up a handful of Oscars, they made their debut in 1984 with the crime thriller Blood Simple. Over 30 years later, it’s headed back to theaters and home video.
Studiocanal and Independent Cinema Office will be releasing a new 4K restoration of Blood Simple: Director’s Cut in UK theaters on October 6, followed by a DVD/Blu-ray on October 30! The restoration was overseen and approved by the Coens.
