Netflix Teases Tomorrow’s New “Stranger Things” Trailer in ‘Friday the 13th’ Style

Tomorrow is Friday the 13th, and Netflix is celebrating by launching a brand new, final trailer for the second season of “Stranger Things, dropping in just two weeks.

In advance of the trailer, they’ve uploaded a new teaser today, which pays tribute to the iconic “countdown” trailer for the original Friday the 13th!

Check it out below, along with another new “Nosebleed” teaser.

In the second season, arriving on October 27

“It’s 1984 and the citizens of Hawkins, Indiana are still reeling from the horrors of the Demogorgon and the secrets of Hawkins Lab. Will Byers has been rescued from the Upside Down but a bigger, sinister entity still threatens those who survived.”

The cast includes Paul Reiser, Brett Gelman, Linnea Berthelsen, Dacre Montgomery, Will Chase, Rob Morgan, and Sadie Sink. They join the returning Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, and Charlie Heaton.

  • With the next Friday the 13th (which hopefully gets announced next year, when New Line gets the rights back), it would be cool if they used this trailer style to montage all the films in the teaser, since it will be the thirteenth Friday the 13th movie.
