“I’m Kellywise… the dancing clown.”
Not only did she single-handedly make Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters bizarrely entertaining as wacky science nerd Jillian Holtzmann, but Kate McKinnon has also been the most consistently hilarious performer on “Saturday Night Live” since her debut in 2012. Say what you want about the show these days, but McKinnon is always gold.
On last night’s Kumail Nanjiani-hosted episode of “SNL,” McKinnon once again played the role of Kellyanne Conway, Counselor to the President in the Trump administration.
Only this time, she was “Kellywise”… McKinnon playing Conway playing Pennywise.
Not surprisingly, McKinnon nails Bill Skarsgård’s manner of speaking as the character, making for a hilarious sketch wherein Pennywise torments Anderson “Georgie” Cooper!
