Eight films. Countless twists. One massive story.
The Saw franchise may be primarily known for its gruesome deaths, but what’s most impressive about the series is the way each new film manages to evolve the storyline. For better of worse, the creative teams always worked overtime to expand upon and make sense of things, making for a fun franchise to revisit back-to-back.
Speaking of which, I did just that last week and had a total blast.
Throughout the course of now eight total films, we’ve jumped back and forth in time several times, making it a bit hard to make sense of the franchise’s impressively convoluted timeline.
