In The Mayflower, when a young engineer wakes up early from cryo-sleep on a deep space freighter called ‘Mayflower’, he is thrust into a claustrophobic nightmare.
Directed by Christopher Goodman, The Mayflower looks to take obvious influence from other extreme deep space films like Alien and Event Horizon – films that didn’t shy away from being a horror film first. The film is written by Benjamin Ferry.
French readers take note, The Mayflower is scheduled to have its international premiere at the Paris International Fantastic Film Festival on December 9.
