The work of Junji Ito, the Japanese manga artist behind creepy gems such as Uzumaki and Tomie, has been adapted by director Shinobu Tagashira for Junji Ito Collection, a new horror anime series that’ll be airing in Japan early next year.
“The anime will adapt stories from both the 11-volume Junji Ito Masterpiece Collection series and the Fragments of Horror book,” reports Anime News Network.

The voice cast includes Hikaru Midorikawa, Mami Koyama and Rie Sugihara.
Junji Ito Collection premieres on WOWOW on January 5, 2018. The series will subsequently start airing on Tokyo MX on Sunday, January 7.
