“The X-Files” returns to FOX with 10 brand new episodes on January 3.
Ahead of the Season 11 premiere of “The X-Files,” FOX tasked the company Thinkmodo with creating a viral scare prank on the streets of NYC earlier this week, which saw them unleashing an extraterrestrial lifeform on the unsuspecting public.
The truth wasn’t out *there*, it was inside a newspaper box!
The team, who were also behind recent Carrie and Devil’s Due pranks, put animatronic aliens inside a New York Post dispenser in NYC, with a faux “Aliens Among Us” cover story on display in the front. “See inside for exclusive first photos!” the paper teased.
