First Teaser for Tom Savini’s New Webseries ‘Flicker’!
George A. Romero’s Filmmaking Program and Tom Savini‘s Special Makeup Effects Program, both offered by PA’s Douglas Education Center, have joined forces for a brand new horror webseries titled Flicker.
As we recently told you, the series will feature episodes directed by Robert Tinnell, Tina Romero (George’s daughter) and Savini himself.
“Cant reveal too much, but prepare yourself for magic tricks, violence, revenge, and horror in the style of a silent film,” Savini recently teased.
“Imagine Oldboy shot as a silent film starring Lon Chaney Sr. It’s violent AF!!!” actor Jason Baker teased one of the segments a few weeks back.
Via Savini’s social media today, check out your first look at Flicker!
Robert Tinnell wrote and produces the web series.

Sega’s Dreamcast to Live Again with Brand-New Survival Horror Title ‘White Creek’ [Trailer]
The fate of Sega’s Dreamcast was the unfortunate product of a handful of key events, and despite its short lifespan, it rightfully still holds a place in many fans’ hearts. PixelHeart are a group of said fans, who have been working away at developing a new game for the Dreamcast in their survival horror title, White Creek. And even if you don’t own a Dreamcast, the team is also working to port the game to modern consoles, as well as Steam. They’ll be launching a Kickstarter campaign soon to assist with development.
White Creek casts players as Alicia Morelli, a freelance exorcist who’s drawn to the eponymous town of White Creek. At first it was only rumors, but soon the townspeople were turning on each other in unexplained outbursts of violence. The violence spread, and those who were unable to leave remain in hiding . . . or are no longer themselves.
The possessed that Alicia will encounter can still be saved, but not all. You can choose to free them from their curse, or kill them. However, in exorcising them, you run the risk of losing your own soul.
Alicia has several weapons at her disposal, in addition to her psychic powers. These abilities allow her to detect spiritual anomalies, whether they are found within the possessed or hidden throughout the environment. She can also capture and record them using her mobile phone, a crucial tool for exploration, investigation, and puzzle-solving.
