Papa Ash Says, “Hey, It’s Just a Fucking Donut!”

What qualifies Ash to give parental advice? He’s the hero of Elk Grove! They pretty much just let him do whatever he wants.

In this brand new promo for the third season of Ash vs. Evil Dead”, Ash (Bruce Campbell) explores the old saying that crime doesn’t pay, which leads to the moral dilemma of stealing a donut… “Hey, it’s just a fucking donut.”

Returning on Feb. 25, 2018, the third season finds Ash, having gone from murderous urban legend to humanity-saving hometown hero, discovering that he has a long-lost daughter who’s been entrusted to his care. When Kelly witnesses a televised massacre with Ruby’s fingerprints all over it, she returns with a new friend to warn Ash and Pablo that evil isn’t done with them yet. But evil will learn to never get in between a papa bear and his cub.

The wickedly gore-filled series stars Bruce Campbell as Ash Williams, the chainsaw-wielding anti-hero tasked with saving the world from evil; Lucy Lawless as Ruby, the unpredictable foe and occasional ally who has strong ties to the origin of the “Necronomicon;” Ray Santiago plays Pablo Simon Bolivar, Ash’s loyal sidekick and eternal optimist; and Dana DeLorenzo returns as Kelly Maxwell, orphaned in Season One and ready to kick some evil ass.

The Evil Dead original filmmakers Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert and Bruce Campbell serve as executive producers on Season Three along with Ivan Raimi and Rick Jacobson. Mark Verheiden serves as Showrunner with Producer Moira Grant.

Last week we learned that Steve Buscemi had joined the cast of “Wednesday” Season 2 at Netflix, and Variety lets us know that Thandiwe Newton (“Westworld”) has also signed on.

Jenna Ortega is back as Wednesday Addams in the upcoming second season of Netflix’s “Wednesday,” with Steve Buscemi playing the new principal of Nevermore Academy.

Jenna Ortega stars in the hit series as Wednesday Addams, with Luis Guzmán playing Gomez and Catherine Zeta-Jones playing Morticia in Tim Burton’s Netflix series. Christina Ricci also appears in the show, playing a brand new role, with Fred Armisen as Uncle Fester.

“Wednesday” is described as “a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery charting Wednesday Addams’ years as a student at Nevermore Academy.” The series follows…

“Wednesday’s attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the supernatural mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago — all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships.”

Alfred Gough and Miles Millar (“Smallville”) are the writers and showrunners, with Tim Burton executive producing and directing several episodes of the show’s debut season.

We don’t know much about “Wednesday” Season 2 at the moment but Jenna Ortega has promised that the new season will be “bolder” and darker than the first season of the series.

“We’ve decided we want to lean into the horror more,” Ortega said last year.
