Clip From ‘Truth or Dare’ Plays the Game!
Universal Pictures supplied us with two clips from Jeff Wadlow‘s Truth or Dare, which will be played on Friday, April 13, 2018.
In the film, “A harmless game of “Truth or Dare” among friends turns deadly when someone—or something—begins to punish those who tell a lie—or refuse the dare.”
In these first clips, we learn that the game followed them home, but also get to see one of the supernatural games play out. When bombarded with a request – truth or dare? – a girl chooses “truth” and screams out that one of her friends has constantly been cheating on her boyfriend.
Tyler Posey (“Teen Wolf”), Violett Beane (“The Flash”), Lucy Hale (Scream 4), Nolan Gerard Funk, Hayden Szeto, Sophia Taylor Ali, and Aurora Perrineau (Freaks of Nature) star in the latest supernatural horror film from Blumhouse Productions.
Jeff Wadlow co-wrote the script with Chris Roach and Jillian Jacobs from a story by Michael Reisz, Wadlow, Roach and Jacobs. Micro-budget maven Jason Blum is producing with Wadlow, Roach and Blumhouse’s Couper Samuelson serving as exec producers.
Wadlow is the writer behind A&E’s “Bates Motel” and the writer-director of Kick-Ass 2.

‘Werwulf’ – Chilly First Look at New Werewolf Nightmare from Director Robert Eggers
Robert Eggers (The Witch, Nosferatu) is back later this year with new horror movie Werwulf, and the very first teaser image from the hotly anticipated movie has surfaced tonight.
Oddly enough, this first look comes courtesy of the NBC Store, and it gives us a glimpse at a chilly Winter landscape from the film. Is there a werewolf hiding in the photo? Maybe…
Set in 13th century England, Werwulf sees a mysterious creature stalk the land as local folklore becomes a terrifying reality. The film hits theaters on December 25 via Focus Features.
Robert Eggers recently teased, “It’s the darkest thing I’ve ever written. By far.”
Eggers directs from a script he penned with his The Northman co-writer Sjón.
Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Nosferatu), Lily-Rose Depp (Nosferatu), Willem Dafoe (The Lighthouse), Ralph Ineson (The Witch), and Bodhi Rae Breathnach (Hamnet) star.
Robert Eggers and Sjón produce alongside Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner for Working Title. Maiden Voyage’s Chris Columbus and Eleanor Columbus are executive producing.
