‘Hurt’ Trailer Brings the Pain On Halloween [Fantasia]
Indiewire shares the trailer for Blumhouse’s Hurt, which is premiering at the ongoing Fantasia Film Festival this coming Thursday night. The footage has an angry “Texas Chainsaw-esque” vibe and doesn’t deliver much story details, but it does look visceral and intense.
In the film, “Rose moves into a house in the woods close to her sister after her boyfriend gets deployed and things don’t go right when Halloween night arrives.”
Sonny Mallhi (Family Blood) directs the film that stars first-time film actress Emily Van Raay as Rose, with supporting turns from Andrew Creer, Bradley Hamilton, Stephanie Moran, and Natalie Olivia Clarke.
We’ve also included the film’s poster.
