An international trailer has been released from Michael Winnick‘s Malicious, which looks inspired by films like James Wan’s Conjuring and Insidious. The film had its World Premiere Cinepocalypse, where Patrick Bromley wrote it’s both clunk and lacks energy.
In the film, a housewarming gift from hell terrorizes a young pregnant couple when a malevolent entity that will stop at nothing until it satisfies its morbid intentions is unleashed from a cursed antique box.
