New Line Cinema has released several minutes of b-roll footage from the filming of The Nun, the next installment in the Conjuring universe that opens in theaters this coming Friday. What you’ll see is random footage from the set of director Corin Hardy directing the film on the stunning Bucharest, Romania locations.
Taissa Farmiga stars as Sister Irene with Bonnie Aarons reprising her Conjuring 2 role as the title character, who is shown doing tons of creepy work on set.
You’ll also see Oscar-nominated Demian Bichir (“A Better Life”) as Father Burke, with the film also starring Jonas Bloquet (Elle) as local villager Frenchie, Charlotte Hope (TV’s “Game of Thrones”) as the abbey’s Sister Victoria and Ingrid Bisu (“Toni Erdmann”) as Sister Oana.
In the film, “A priest with a haunted past and a novitiate on the threshold of her final vows are sent by the Vatican to investigate the death of a young nun in Romania and confront a malevolent force in the form of a demonic nun.”
Thanks to Mike M. for sending the video footage on over!
