The Demon Appears in First ‘The Harrowing’ Clip

Clay Epstein’s Film Mode Entertainment has announced a Christmas Day VOD release for The Harrowing, written and directed by veteran horror director Jon Keeyes (American Nightmare).

Bloody Disgusting now has the first clip from film that stars the legendary Michael Ironside (Total Recall, Scanners).

The horror/thriller follows a Vice Detective (Matthew Tompkins), who is wrongly accused of the ritualistic murder of his best friend. Bent on finding the truth, he is plunged into Hell when he goes undercover and discovers the truth behind a demonic myth.

“We’ve carefully crafted an intelligent, suspenseful, tense thriller that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats while driving them down a road of psychological twists and turns,” explained Keeyes.

In addition to Ironside and Tompkins, the dynamic ensemble cast also includes ‘’The Haunting of Hill House’s” Arianne Martin, Arnold Vosloo (The Mummy, G.I Joe: The Rise of Cobra), and Damon Carney (Hellraiser: Judgment).

One of my personal favorite horror movies of all time, 1987’s gateway horror classic The Gate is opening back up on May 14 with a brand new Blu-ray SteelBook release from Lionsgate!

The new release will feature fresh SteelBook artwork from Vance Kelly, seen below.

When best friends Glen (Stephen Dorff) and Terry (Louis Tripp) stumble across a mysterious crystalline rock in Glen’s backyard, they quickly dig up the newly sodden lawn searching for more precious stones.
