From script pages to concept art, stories of stop motion and sound design, and in-depth interviews, last year Christopher Griffiths shared the trailer for his excellent looking RoboDoc: The Creation of RoboCop, which has been over three years in the making. Griffiths, who also helmed Leviathan: The Story of Hellraiser and Hellbound: Hellraiser II and You’re So Cool, Brewster! The Story of Fright Night, goes behind-the-scenes of the make of Paul Verhoeven’s 1987 sci-fi classic RoboCop.
In fact, he’s teasing the discovery of “never before seen” footage from behind-the-scenes” of the film’s production. He shares the following video in which Paul McCrane explains his casting as the villain Emil, which carries footage of him blasting one of the film’s big ass guns.

It is the film that started it all for me at an age when I probably shouldn’t have been watching it, like many others, but I did, and I have grown up with it and found new things each time I watch it.”
Watch for release news as it comes in.
