Sylvester Stallone has been sharing all kinds of goodies from the set of his Rambo V: Last Blood, which the latest being an absolute gem that even caught the eye of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.
Posted to Instagram, watch Stallone and the crew block an action sequence that ends with, as Johnson hilariously notes, “Drop the spear, dive and get ready to cut his leg off.” The following behind-the-scenes footage is awesome.
In the fifth installment of the franchise, this time directed by Adrian Grunberg, when the daughter of one of his friends is kidnapped, Rambo, who has been working on a ranch, crosses the U.S.-Mexican border and quickly finds himself up against the full might of one of Mexico’s most violent cartels.
Sergio Peris-Mencheta (“Snowfall”) will be playing Rambo’s latest adversary. The actor will play the cartel’s brutal leader, Hugo Martinez.
Yvette Monreal, Adriana Barraza, Paz Vega, Oscar Jaenada and Joaquin Cosio also star.
Rambo makes his last stand on September 20, 2019.
