The implications of this technology are admittedly kind of frightening, but for now it’s hard not to get a kick out of “Deepfake” videos, which often swap out the faces of actors from iconic movies and replace them with the faces of other actors. Earlier this week, a viral “Deepfake” video cast Jim Carrey in Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining, and that madness continues today.
This time, Ctrl Shift Face uses the “Deepfake” tech to alter the scene where Jack snaps on a baseball bat-wielding Wendy, leading Wendy to attack her crazy husband in self defense.
