[Gamescom 2019] ‘Little Nightmares II’ is Coming Next Year
We were hoping for something horror-flavored from Gamescom’s Opening Night Live show, and we soon got that with the announcement of Little Nightmares II coming next year.
The sequel to the creepy hit title, where kids escape some messed up horrors, seems to have added weaponry and outdoor areas this time around.
It’s a genuinely nice surprise to get more of this world. Hopefully, this sequel will refine some of the issues with the original.
No set release date just yet, but it’s set to arrive next year at some point.

Closed Network Test for Switch 2-Exclusive Souls-Like ‘The Duskbloods’ Coming This Summer [Trailer]
During the recent Nintendo Direct, FromSoftware announced that they will host a closed network test later this summer for their upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive PvPvE multiplayer action game The Duskbloods. The announcement was accompanied by a new trailer, which shows off more of the game’s gothic setting.
FromSoftware again kept the cards close to their chest in regards to the exact date for the network test, as well as details about The Duskbloods, which sees up to eight players battling amongst themselves until one is left standing. Players take on the role as a member of the “Bloodsworn,” a group that has “gone beyond humanity” thanks to special blood. Their goal is to become the “First Blood.”
As human society reaches an end, First Blood flows in an event known as the ‘Twilight of Humanity.’ The Bloodsworn are summoned to the Twilight of Humanity across a variety of different times and places in a bid to obtain First Blood.
For those who aren’t into the PvP aspect, The Duskbloods director Hidetaka Miyazaki stated last year in an interview that those with single-player gameplay in mind can still enjoy the game. “I personally am not much of a PvP person, and I wanted to make something that’s satisfying even for players like me. While the goal of a match is to obtain First Blood, there are personal objectives that provide separate rewards to the player as well, so I hope these add to the fun of each engagement.”
The Duskbloods is currently slated to launch later this year for the Switch 2.
Meanwhile, also announced during the Nintendo Direct, From Software’s Switch 2 port of Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition will be arriving August 28.
