[Trailer] Miko Hughes Reprises ‘New Nightmare’ Role for ‘Elm Street’ Fan Film ‘Dylan’s New Nightmare’!
In the wake of franchise stars Thom Mathews and C.J. Graham appearing in Friday the 13th fan films, we’ve learned this week that one of the stars of the Nightmare on Elm Street franchise is similarly headed back to his old stomping grounds. Miko Hughes, who played Dylan Porter in Wes Craven’s New Nightmare, will star in fan film Dylan’s New Nightmare!
Hughes of course also played the original Gage Creed in 1989’s Pet Sematary.
Set 25 years after the events of New Nightmare – which just turned 25 this past weekend, in fact – Dylan’s New Nightmare follows Dylan Porter (Miko Hughes), the young son of Heather Langenkamp, now a grown man trying to make his way in the world his parents raised him in—Hollywood. Little does he know that the evil entity known as Freddy Krueger is back, and eager to once again break into our world through the son of his favorite victim.
Dylan’s New Nightmare is set to be directed by Cecil Laird, and you can help fund the fan film over on Indiegogo. But first check out the official teaser trailer, which you’ll find below!
If you were wondering just where Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy was all this time, you won’t have to wait much longer.
