“Wear Your Glove”: Robert Englund Shares Fun Public Service Announcement Video

Published

Horror legend Robert Englund has joined the growing list of celebrities (including Shaun of the Dead‘s Simon Pegg and Nick Frost!) who have taken to social media to share fun Public Service Announcement videos while we’re all stuck at home to help mitigate the spread of the coronavirus. And Englund’s is particularly special, as he goes “Full Freddy” for his PSA.

“This nightmare will end. Take care of yourself,” Englund captioned the video shared to Twitter tonight. In it, he encourages you to stay home, wash your hands, and “wear your glove.”

The video ends with Englund busting out his Freddy glove and breaking into the dream demon’s trademark cackle – a soothing sound for horror fans, if there ever was one.

Enjoy. And take Freddy’s advice… or else…

Co-op Shooter ‘Perish’ Arrives April 15 for Playstation and Xbox Consoles [Trailer]

It’s been a while, but publisher HandyGames and developer ITEM42 will finally be releasing their classical mythology-inspired co-op shooter Perish to consoles next month. Originally released for PC on Steam and the Epic Games Store, Perish will arrive on April 15 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, the Xbox One and the Xbox Series. The release will also be accompanied by a limited-time 10% launch discount.

In Perish, players step into the shoes of Amyetri, a corporeal spirit condemned to the shadowy existence of Purgatory. Their mission? To end their suffering by undertaking the Rites of Orpheus and conquering the Chthonic deities blocking the path to Elysium.

As a Deprived Initiate, players start with nothing but a broken sword and must earn danake, the blood-soaked currency of the underworld, to afford better equipment and tackle the formidable Dismal Lords standing in their way. However, great reward comes with great risk, as you must remember to deposit your danake in the Pantheon, as falling to enemies means losing it all.

Luckily, you don’t have to go at it alone. Up to four players can team up in online co-op, utilizing specialized gear and gadgets to support, defend, and revive each other on the treacherous road to eternal oblivion.
