‘State of Decay 3’ Announced With Creepy Winter Wilderness Trailer [Video]

Published

At the Xbox Games Showcase, we expected at least a bit of horror to show up, and early out the gate we got our first glimpse at State of Decay 3.

There wasn’t any gameplay on display in the trailer, but a female protagonist is shown trying to survive in a snowy woodland. First, she screams at a wolf to ward it off from her camp, and then while hunting with her crossbow, she spies a zombified deer, and clearly it’s not happy to see her.

That was about it. No release, but the zombie beasts being a focus sounds intriguing. Whenever it does show up, it looks like it’ll be on both Xbox One and Xbox Series X.
