“Happy Slashers”: Animated Fan Project Brings Horror Icons Together for a Bloody Good Time

Crowdfunding is now underway for a project called Happy Slashers this week, a highly unofficial take on your favorite slasher icons that brings them into the world of animation.

The team describes the planned project, “Happy Slashers is an animated comedy series that turns all of our horror fantasies and dreams, er…nightmares into reality.” They’re currently looking to raise $12,500 to fund the pilot episode. Here’s some more info…

“Dive deep into the depths of Hell inside Krueg’s boiler-room where O’Face, Mikey, Jay, Chuck, Tex and of course their therapist Krueg meet for group therapy sessions to become A+, high class, model citizens so that they can be placed safely back into society.”

Writer/creator Ron Gaita is joined by a cast including Dave Sheridan (Scary Movie, The Devil’s Rejects), Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp, Victor Crowley), Mark Patton (A Nightmare On Elm St. 2), Damian Maffei (Haunt, The Strangers: Prey At Night), Tiffany Shepis (Victor Crowley), Brad Loree (Halloween: Resurrection), Joe Lynch (Mayhem, Holliston), Chaney Morrow (Haunt) and horror composer Alexander Taylor (Scream Queen! My Nightmare On Elm St.).

Stunlock Gives a Glimpse of New Content for ‘V Rising’ With Ruins of Mortium Gameplay Trailer [Watch]

The full release of V Rising is coming up quick. And just in case the upcoming Castlevania crossover wasn’t enough, Stunlock has released a new gameplay trailer showing off the new Ruins of Mortium endgame zone for V Rising.

Once the heart of the powerful Vampire civilization, the Ruins of Mortium now lies in ruins, teeming with the cult-like remnants of Dracula’s forces. Players will encounter the Draculin, creatures tainted by Dracula’s influence, and face off against his Vampire Generals. The ultimate challenge awaits as players journey into the depths of Mortium to confront Dracula himself. While battling through his forces and disrupting dark rituals intent on reviving the ancient Vampire king, players will uncover ancient powers and prepare for the ultimate showdown against the tyrant himself.

Ruins of Mortium is just one piece of the new content for V Rising when it launches in full. Here’s a rundown of what to expect:
