New Demo For ‘Mirror Forge’ Available Now
Not to be outdone by the previous announcements at Realms Deep 2022, DreadXP’s recently-acquired upcoming Survival Horror title Mirror Forge has a new demo for you to check out. This new Mirror Forge demo is the same one that was featured at both PAX West and Gamescom, so if you missed out on those events, here’s your chance. DreadXP also posted a new trailer for Mirror Forge to Twitter, which you can see below.
Developed by MystiveDev, Mirror Forge centres on Thomas Jackson, a troubled man whose drunk driving two years ago resulted in his girlfriend Jill’s coma and the loss of their baby. Though Jill recovered, the ordeal destroyed their relationship. Compounded by his job loss, Thomas tries to commit suicide. While therapy and medication have helped, Thomas’ past comes calling once again, resulting in him seeking solace with Jill to try and get back what was lost.
However, Jill, a journalist, is nowhere to be found. His only clue: footage of her last report. Missing children, a place called Devil’s Womb Canyon, and a mysterious blue explosion.
In Mirror Forge, players must travel between alternate dimensions enveloped in darkness and home to unearthly creatures. Using mirrors to cross between these realms, players will experience a variety of familiar and bizarre environments — from gloomy, narrow apartments to open towns, ancient houses, and factories. And in keeping with survival horror tropes, in Mirror Forge, Thomas has no way to defend himself. As a result, he must evade creatures while also solving puzzles, and piece together the source of Jill’s disappearance and the otherworldly occurrences that currently haunt him.
Mirror Forge is slated to arrive Q4 2022 on Steam.

Horror Action-Adventure Title ‘EONA’ Appearing at Gamescom 2026; New Gameplay Trailer Released [Watch]
With gamescom 2026 right around the corner, developer/publisher SUPER AC has revealed that their upcoming horror adventure game EONA will be making an appearance at the show, which takes place from August 26-30. In addition, the team has revealed a new gameplay trailer, as well as announcing that the game will launch “just a few weeks” after gamescom.
Those attending gamescom will be able to play the final version of EONA at the SUPER AC booth, located in Hall 10.1, Booth A043. If you’re not able to attend, you can always check out the demo for the game on Steam.
EONA centres around the eponymous girl, who after a failed spell, has her soul split into two, with one half residing in a mysterious puppet. Eona must enter the castle of the evil fairy Mélusine and recover an artifact that is the only hope of saving her mother. But the path through the castle comes at a cost. To achieve her goal, Eona must uncover the castle’s secrets… and ultimately confront Mélusine herself.
Eona wields the Puppeteer’s Cross, a stolen artifact that allows her to manipulate the souls of the castle’s servants. By altering their behavior, redirecting their patrol routes, and disrupting the castle’s order, she can turn its own inhabitants against it. She can also swap between her human body and her puppet form, with each form granting unique abilities that are essential for delving deeper into the castle, reaching inaccessible areas, and uncovering its hidden secrets.
Blending stealth, exploration, puzzle-solving and soul manipulation, you’ll use Eona’s supernatural abilities to overcome obstacles—but never lose sight of your own body, which is completely vulnerable when using her puppet form.
In addition to Steam, EONA will also be launching on the Epic Games Store.
