Shudder, AMC Networks’ premium streaming service for horror, thrillers and the supernatural, has provided Bloody Disgusting with the trailer for the new survival thriller Quicksand, the English-language Colombian film written by Matt Pitts (Westworld) and directed by Andrés Beltrán (Tarumama). Exclusively watch the trailer down below.

The Shudder Original film will make its exclusive streaming debut Friday, July 14 on Shudder and will also be available to stream on AMC+.

In Quicksand, an American couple, on the brink of divorce, travel to Colombia for a work conference. While on a hike through the rainforest, a storm causes them to become trapped in a pit of quicksand. Unable to move, it becomes a struggle for survival as they battle the elements of the jungle and a venomous snake, in order to escape.

Carolina Gaitàn (Encanto) and Allan Hawco (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan) star.

“Making Quicksand was such a thrilling and challenging experience. I hope people can relate to the intense emotions Carolina and Allan portrayed so well,” said Beltrán in a statement. “We shot the film on location, in a cold forest in the mountains of Colombia. Although the weather conditions were harsh for the actors and crew, we kept enjoying the process because we wanted to tell this story as real as possible.”

Jason Cherubini, Nicolás Reyes and Sean Patrick Burke produced, with Richard Switzer, Martin Ramos, John Harris and Kris Meyer serving as exec producers.

‘Bogieville’ – Bloody Exclusive Trailer Previews Southern Fried Vampire Movie

Published

on

From Magnificent Films and Silent D Pictures, director Sean Cronin’s vampire movie Bogieville is headed to the Cannes market, and Bloody Disgusting has been exclusively provided with the bloody teaser trailer this afternoon. Sink your fangs into this first look trailer below.

Deadline first reported on Bogieville earlier this week, describing the upcoming film as a “southern fried vampire thriller.” And the vamps in this one look pretty gnarly, with their shark-like teeth reminding us a bit of the bloodsuckers in Radio Silence’s new movie Abigail.

In the film, “A young couple on the run come across the eponymous derelict American trailer park, where they soon learn that the residents are a pack of blood-thirsty vampires.”

Arifin Putra (The Raid 2) and Eloise Lovell Anderson (Villain) star alongside Cronin.

Henry P. Gravelle wrote the screenplay.

Stay tuned for more and find exclusive images and poster art underneath the trailer.
