Saber Interactive and Boss Team Games are breaking the fourth wall with the new gameplay trailer for Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival. Narrated by Xalavier Nelson Jr., the voice of main protagonist Aidan Lynch, the trailer breaks down how your terrifying journey into the dark world of the Labyrinth will feel “both unique and familiar to fans of survival horror and action.”
In the video (which is also available in “Red Band” format), Xalavier breaks down the “brutal and visceral” combat in Clive Barker’s Hellraiser: Revival. With a wide variety of weapons at your disposal, from melee weapons to explosive firearms to the Genesis Configuration, you’ll have plenty of ways to banish Hell’s minions. You’ll need to keep your wits about you, dodging attacks, scavenging for ammo and healing, laying down traps, and bartering for upgrades to stay alive against the various foes that you’ll encounter.
That’s where the Genesis Configuration comes in. As mentioned in previous videos, you’ll wield the supernatural powers of this mysterious puzzle box to hurl objects against enemies, scorch them with fire and much more. Use the might at your fingertips to bring the pain to your enemies, gather their Suffering, and even you can unleash the ultimate destruction: the infamous Hell Chains.
