Published

on

We’ve got all sorts of goodies from Nimrod Antal’s Predators, the Robert Rodriguez produced sequel arriving in theaters next Friday. First, we’ve got a look at all four clips, along with the last behind-the-scenes featurette focusing on Yakuza member “Hanzo”. In addition, we’ve got our hands on the official stills (finally), although they aren’t all that eventful. Rodriguez wasn’t lying when he implied Predators is to Predator as James Cameron’s Aliens is to Alien. Good times, good times! Oh, yeah, and there’s a new online game and a Cinemax tour of the set! Read about it inside.
Are you a predator or prey? Channel your inner-Predator and trap, blast and slash your quarry. THE HUNT IS ON…AND THE WEB IS THE PREY!

In anticipation of its new film 20th Century Fox gives you the chance to become a predator and destroy the website of your choice. Ticked-off at some of your buddies on Facebook? Instead of “unfriending” them, take them out Predator-style, with a shoulder cannon blast. Has your once cutting-edge site become yesterday’s news? Then put an end to its misery with a few moves of the Predator Wrist Blade.

The hunt is on at www.Predators-Movie.com, where you can take control of the Predators Weapons Overlay, and get down to business with the alien beings’ Shoulder Cannon, Wrist Blade, Net Gun, and Spear.

Robert Rodriguez presents a bold new chapter in the Predator universe, PREDATORS, shot on location under Rodriguez’s creative auspices at the filmmaker’s Austin-based Troublemaker Studios, and directed by Nimrod Antal. The film stars Adrien Brody as Royce, a mercenary who reluctantly leads a group of elite warriors who come to realize they’ve been brought together on an alien planet… as prey. With the exception of a disgraced physician, they are all cold-blooded killers – mercenaries, Yakuza, convicts, death squad members – human “predators” that are now being systemically hunted and eliminated by a new breed of alien Predators.

Two-time BAFTA winning filmmaker Joe Wright (Hanna, “Black Mirror“) is set to direct the feature adaptation of post-apocalyptic thriller novel, Juice, Deadline reports today.

Emmy winner Abi Morgan (Shame, “Eric”) will adapt Tim Winton‘s novel for Working Title Films.

In Juice, “A young husband and father is recruited into a top-secret resistance organization, to join the ranks of militia men tasked with targeting the isolated and wealthy culprits responsible for this global catastrophe.  When a mission goes wrong, he finds himself on the run, having to fight to the end to survive in this hostile world.”

It’s set in a world ravaged by climate-change disaster.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled that Tim Winton has entrusted us with his extraordinary epic,” Wright told Deadline. “The story is both a thrilling modern family saga and an urgent call to action. I cannot wait for audiences to experience it on the big screen.”

Winton added, “I’m pleased to know a filmmaker of Joe Wright’s calibre has chosen to adapt Juice for the screen. His capacity to portray the turmoil and the turning points of nations and peoples as well as private individuals distinguishes his work as a director and I’m confident that Juice is in good hands.”

Juice was initially published in October 2024 and longlisted for The Climate Fiction Prize 2026.
